Abstract

857,231. Air or gas filters. CAMBRIDGE FILTER MANUFACTURING CORPORATION. June 20, 1958, No. 19860/58 Class 8 (2). An air or gas filter formed from a continuous sheet of filter medium 18, folded, with each fold held apart by a corrugated metal, or mineral fibre sheet 16, so as to form a core which will allow the gas to pass through it. The core is sealed into a unit, made of a frame 12 with sheet metal sides, by a compressed mat of fibre glass 14 which will positively prevent by-passing or leakage of contaminated air around the filter.
