Class 20(3) In a window &c. frame a for buildings or vehicles in which a panel c e.g. of glass is secured by means of separately formed retaining strips d which are engaged with grooves b in the frame, securing screws f are combined with the strips d and the frame members provide surfaces against which the screws f can abut for securing the strips. In Fig. 2, the strips d are of stepped cross-section so that the adjacent face is flush with the frame. In Fig. 3, the groove b is formed in the frame a at right angles to the plane of the pane c and the strip d has formed in it a longitudinal groove into which engages a part g of the frame a the upper face of part g being engaged by the screw f.
