Abstract

850,319. Insulation for dynamo-electric machines. ELEKTROLUX A.B. June 28, 1957 [June 30, 1956], No. 20488/57. Class 35. Sheet insulation between a core and winding consists of two elements introduced from opposite faces of the core towards one another in grooves or recesses provided in the core to accommodate the winding. As shown, the two insulators have axially extending surfaces 16 shaped to line the grooves 17 occupied by the field coils and radially extending portions 15 to extend over the end surfaces of the poles, while tabs 14 may be provided for bending around the coil.
