A closure for bottles or jars comprises a cylindrical threaded section having an inward lip at its upper end, a secondary lip 3 raised above it, a circular badge 1 for advertising material,-and a disc 4 which holds the badge 1 in position when the cap is screwed home. The screw thread may be omitted.
