Abstract
847,402. Photographic masking frames. AGFA A. G. Sept. 26, 1957 [Oct. 18, 1956], No. 30225/57. Class 98(1) In an enlarger masking frame having two adjustable and two fixed blades forming a rectangular frame which can be brought down over an adjustable right angle paper stop, the adjustable blades have abutments which engage the edges of the photographic paper. As shown, the rectangular frame is hinged on a shaft 11 and the adjustable blades 4, 5 are moved by knobs 10 so that abutments 6 press the photographic paper against the right angle stop 1. The closing movement of the frame may bring about a slight inward movement of masks 4 and 5 so that the paper is pressed into position without it being necessary to turn knobs 10. Apertures 8 closed by spring flaps 9 enable the positions of the edges of the paper to be checked.
