796,514. Container closures. BRITISH XYLONITE CO., Ltd. Jan. 16, 1957 [Dec. 5, 1955], No. 34857/55. Class 125(3). A container lid with a closable pouring aperture is of polythene or other flexible material and has a wedge-shaped portion 13 with an aperture 16 and a recessed part 18 with slots 20, 21 in which slides a closing member 22 with projection 23 for engagement by the finger. To assemble the member 22 in the body it is passed through slot 20 and then elastic deformation of the lid by pressure on corners 14, 15 allows the slot 21 to pass over the strip 22
