846,420. Weather shields for motor cycles; mudguards. ENFIELD CYCLE CO. Ltd. March 9, 1959 [March 13, 1958], No. 8026/58. Class 136(1). A streamlined weather protector for attachment to a motor cycle consists of a forward shield section which comprises spaced leg protecting sections a<SP>3</SP> united by an upper straddling section a which has a rounded aperture a<SP>6</SP> accommodating a tubular extension b<SP>1</SP> on the top side of the mudguard b permitting the latter to rotate in relation to the straddling section. The lower parts of the leg shields a<SP>3</SP> are joined by a portion a<SP>4</SP> provided with a channel which may engage the forward down tube of the motor cycle. The motor cycle head may also. engage in the rounded aperture a<SP>6</SP>.
