Abstract
846,395. Baling machines. BAMFORDS Ltd. Jan. 8, 1958 [Jan. 9, 1957], No. 797/57. Drawings to Specification. Class 94(1). The subject-matter relates to the compressing plunger construction described in Specification 846,396 and applicable to the baling-machine described in Specification 846,393. The cutting edge of the securing knife mounted on the plunger is set back in relation to the operating plunger face so that an initial compression of material is effected before cutting commences. The arrangement also results in a greater effective area of feed opening into the baling chamber. Specification 846,397 also is referred to.
