Abstract

838,800. Liquid applicators. NADAI, A. April 11, 1958 [April 17, 1957], No. 11507/58. Class 81 (2). [Also in Group XXIII] A dispenser at the neck of a liquid-containing bottle has a reservoir membrane 24, i.e. a sponge which is maintained saturated with the liquid and a flexible, resilient, liquid permeable applicator membrane 28 so mounted in the dispenser as to be spaced from the reservoir member unless subjected to pressure directed towards the reservoir member as when applied to a person's body. When the membrane and pad are in contact liquid flows from the pad to the membrane and on to the surface to be treated. Two modified forms of the dispenser shown are also described.
