Abstract
359,799. Shaving or massaging appliances. SARGENT, H. T., 39, Rosebank Road, Hanwell, London. Dec. 18, 1930, No. 38163. [Class 19.] A device for applying shaving or face cream from a collapsable tube 10 consists of a tube 1 with a screw socket 2 at one end for connection to the tube 10, and formed at the other end with a dome-shaped head 3 carrying a pad 5 of sponge rubber &c. which is backed by a piece 6 of plain rubber pierced with holes and clamped to the head by a screw cap &c. A non-return valve 12 is fitted in the head 3. A rubber handle 7 is fitted on the tube 1, which also supports by means of brackets 8 a rubber or rubbercovered massage roller 9. In a modification, the pad 5 may be secured in place by a hinged cover held by a spring clip.
