Resilient supports for typewriters comprise a recessed plate 1 which receives the foot of the machine and is connected by blade springs 3 to a base ring 5 with a non-slipping undersurface 6 of felt or rubber. A spring strip 8 in the recessed plate 1 gives a frictional grip to secure the device to the foot of the machine.
