The moulded elastic ear insert 1 of a deaf aid has a hole 2 for attachment to the receiver 6 and an eccentrically - positioned and thin-walled tubular extension 3 for insertion in the auditory channel; the hole and the cavity 4 in the tubular extension being joined by a channel 5 of comparatively small cross-sectional area. The insert may be used with either ear.
