Abstract

679,303. Sets for deaf persons. FORTIPHONE, Ltd. June 26, 1951 [June 26, 1950]. No. 15922/50. Class 40 (iv). A deaf-aid comprises a head-band H having a microphone M located at one end and a receiver (sound or bone-conduction) R at the other. The microphone casing houses the valves, output transformer and volume control MSP<SP>1</SP> while the receiver casing houses the batteries. The head-band may be of plastic with the inter-connecting wires moulded therein, plug and socket connections being provided between these wires and the microphone and receiver casings.
