822,782. Container closures. AMERICAN FLANGE & MANUFACTURING CO. Inc. Oct. 4, 1957 [Dec. 28, 1956], No. 31213/57. Class 125(3). In a container closure construction having a reversible spout a neck 4 surrounding the aperture in the container wall has its side wall 21 turned downwardly and inwardly to form a seat for a gasket 26 and a reversible spout 7 closable by a screw cap 17 has a flange 9 which engages the gasket and is held in position by an apertured screw cap 30, a closure disc 37 being clamped in position by the cap 30 when the spout is in the inverted storage position.
