819,364. Ratchet gearing. BULOVA WATCH CO. Inc. May 2, 1956 [May 2, 1955], No. 13468/56. Class 80 (3). [Also in Group XVIII] In a time-piece the oscillator 603, 604 which is preferably of the type disclosed in Specification 761,609, [Group XVIII], has fixed thereto a spring member 620 which frictionally drives a ratchet wheel 621 through an element 620a which may be of a synthetic material or of precious or semi-precious stone. A detent 630 prevents reverse rotation of the ratchet. In a modification, Fig. 2 (not shown), the spring member directly engages a disc member fixed to the ratchet wheel.
