Abstract
816,708. Photo-electric exposure meters. VEB ZEISS IKON DRESDEN. Dec. 11, 1956 [May 16, 1956], No. 37815/56. Class 40 (3). In a photo-electric exposure meter having two measurement ranges a pointer 19 or 20 is brought into alignment with a meter pointer 21 by adjustment of an iris diaphragm control 1 and/or a picture frequency control 2 which are coupled together and to a disc 8 by differential gears 4-7, the disc 8 being connected by a lever 10 controlled by a cam-plate 9 to a disc 17 having stop surfaces 22, 23 to engage the pointers 19, 20. In the position shown the pointer 19 is operative, but when the disc 17 is moved anti-clockwise so that a cam 30 closes contacts 31, the meter is switched to its other range and the pointer 20 becomes operative. Fixed stops 26, 27 limit the movement of the pointers 19, 20 when inoperative.
