Abstract
809,819. Control of several A.C. motors. ALGEMENE KUNSTZIJDE UNIE N.V. May 17, 1956 [May 28, 1955], No. 9615/58. Divided out of 809,374. Class 38 (3). Two polyphase induction motors have their rotor windings 2, 4 interconnected for operation in mutual synchronism, the stator windings 1, 3 being connected to mains 5. A frequency changer 9, 10 is constructed as an induction motor and is connected between the slipfrequency network 8 and the mains 5, this machine being coupled through a stepless, adjustable, mechanical transmission 11 to an induction motor 12 provided with starting resistor 13. Slip couplings 14, 15 may be provided between the frequency changer and the elements 11 and 12. The motor 12 may be replaced by a motor with a starting resistance in its rotor circuit, Fig. 2 (not shown).
