[A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Oct. 24, 1947.] Drawings to Specification. Class 35. One element of a rotary or reciprocating machine has a three-phase star connected winding in three or a multiple of three slots and up to twenty dummy slots are provided between each pair of wound slots, all the slots being equally spaced from one another, the other element having skewed salient poles.
