Abstract

Regenerated cellulose products, e.g. threads and films, are formed from viscose in an acid precipitation bath in the presence of cyclohexanone, which may be added to the viscose and/or to the bath. The bath may have a high zinc salt content and the products may subsequently be stretched in a dilute acid bath. Specification 390,518, [Group IV], is referred to.
