Class 137 [Also in Groups XII and XIII] A moisture exchanger for changing the moisture content of an air stream by means of another air stream comprises two ducts for the passage respectively of the two air streams, means for impelling air through each duct, a moisture transfer body consisting of a plurality of mutually supporting thin partitions composed of a non-metallic fibrous material having an addition of or coated with an hygroscopic substance and arranged to divide the body into a number of adjacent small passageways open at both ends of the body to allow the flow of air therethrough, means for moving the transfer body consecutively through each duct and heating means in one of the ducts to provide for regeneration of the transfer body. The particular description is the same as the description with reference to Figs. 1-4 and 6 of Specification 808,411 Specification 808,413 also is referred to. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 770,201.
