Class 89(1) A lock-washer comprises an annular-body 10, Fig. 1, with a polygonal outer-edge 12 and twisted-teeth 14 on the inner-edge, the body being dished to provide flat-areas A, B. Areas A, Fig. 2, are displaced by 90 degrees about the washer-axis, from areas B, the two pairs of areas being in axiallyspaced planes joined together by sloping parts C. The teeth may have pointed tips, and the washers may be made in a strip, Fig. 6. Specification 648,267 is referred to.
