878,470. Locking nuts &c. ARNOLD, T. Aug. 26, 1958 , No. 27327/58. Class 89(1). A lock washer comprises a cupped ring 1 of spring material with a central hole 4 and teeth 2 with sharp edges extending along at least one surface of the ring towards the outside edge 3. The teeth may extend radically, or obliquely or curving relative to a radius and may be cut-off at surfaces 5, 6. The ring may be frusto-conical or part-spherical.
