798,926. Fishing trawls. BURNEY, Sir C. D. Nov. 14, 1956, No. 34792/56. Class 48. Trawling gear comprises a net 1 towed by bifurcated warps 2 attached to tops and bottoms of the net mouth sides and outwardly running otters 8 attached through pennant wires 7 to the warps at or in advance of their points of bifurcation 3 and connected by cables 9 to the bottoms of the net mouth sides. The otters are constructed so that they may either exert a downward force or neither a downward nor upward force on the net mouth. In the latter case lengths of heavy chain are inserted into the cables 9. The warps 2 may be attached to a single cable extending to the trawler. Specifications 788,237 and 791,616 are referred to.
