793,956. Ladders. WHE'SSOE, Ltd. July 19, 1956 [April 19, 1955], No. 11256/55. Class 20(2) A staircase on the wall 12 of a storage tank &c. has treads of non-ferrous metal supported at one end by iron or steel members 9 welded to the wall 12. The tread may be aluminium and comprise bars 5 having sharp edges engaging the feet of the user and is cast round the ends of the members 9 which are of circular crosssection. The other ends of the treads are connected together by a stringer.
