Abstract
787,194. Releasable fastenings. MILLER, G. P. ROSE-. March 19, 1956 [March 19, 19551, No. 8084/55. Class 44 [Also in Group XIV] An attachment for holding a feeder 8 for use in feeding animals, comprises a bracket 1 attachable to a fixed structure and presenting a normally vertical bar 4 of polygonal crosssection and a socket 7 presented by the feeder and engageable with the bar, which latter is furnished with a locking means 5 engageable with the socket. As shown, the socket is provided with a lining 9 of wear resistant material. The locking means is constituted by a pivoted catch. According to the Provisional Specification the locking means comprises a U-shaped pin which is engageable in mating holes in the socket and bar 4. Specification 647,388 [Group I] is referred to.
