Abstract

783,562. Cylinders; cooling. KLOCKNERHUMBOLDT-DEUTZ AKT.-GES May 6, 1955 [May 22,1954], No. 13226/55. Class 7(2) In an air-cooled cylinder 1, wherein the head 6 is attached thereto by the threaded parts 8 of bolts 7 screwed into the underside of the head, the bolts 7 engage with the same cylinder flange 2 which comprises a support for bolts 12 that secure the cylinder 1 to the engine housing 3. The head of each bolt 7 is arranged in a flange recess 11 and the bolts 7 and 12 are arranged in pairs and uniformly distributed around the flange. The sparking plug 5 and valves 4, only one of which is illustrated, are located in the cylinder head as shown.
