An outlet tap for urns comprises a pipe A which is threaded at one end for attachment to the urn and is formed at the other end with a cylindrical casing B, a delivery nozzle C screwed into the lower end of the casing and formed with a conical or other valve seat D, a cover E screwed into the upper end of the casing and arranged to guide the spindle G of a spring- loaded valve, a rubber valve member F carried by the spindle, and a handle having a bifurcated portion H pivoted to the spindle and arranged to be moved from the horizontal position shown to the vertical position to open the valve. A spring K is interposed between the cover E and the holder L for the valve member. The pipe A may be cleaned on removal of a screw N.
