776,236. Drying fabrics &c. WHITELEY, Ltd., E. G. Nov. 4, 1955, No. 31555/55. Class 34(1) A stenter drier has a series of blowing heads located at intervals along the length of the drying chamber, each having an upper and a lower jaw 5, 6 respectively disposed close to the fabric F and having apertures through which air heated by heater 4 is driven by a fan 2 on to the fabric, the intervals between adjacent blowing heads being approximately equal to the width of each such head.
