775,377. Pleating. PERMACEL TAPE CORPORATION. Sept. 12, 1955 [Oct. 11, 1954], No. 29254/54. Class 141. [Also in Group VIII] Paper, woven or non-woven fabric, or non- fibrous film-forming polymeric material 1 for use as a strippable facing material for an adhesive tape 6 is pleated by entraining it over blocks 2 on an endless conveyer, the blocks in their movement forming gaps at 3 into which the entrained material is drawn folded by being held on the blocks by vacuum or by clips mounted on the blocks, the pleats 5 being formed when the gaps close at 4.
