Abstract
998,146. Clips. INDUSTRIAL AIR FILTERS Ltd. Oct. 16, 1962 [Oct. 26, 1961], No. 39113/62. Heading E2B. [Also in Division B1] The edge of a filter blanket 16, Fig. 5, is releasably secured by gripper strips 14, 15 intregral with and inturned from the side arms of an elongated flat-based channel-shaped moulding 8 of resilient plastic material. In a modification a moulding 9, Fig. 4, includes a dividing wall 26 extending from the channel base 21 between side walls 22, 23 to which are secured gripper strips 24, 25. In a further modification a moulding 10 Fig. 2 comprises a single gripper strip 31 and the blanket edge is secured between said strip and the underside of a limb 3a of an angle iron frame member 3 to which the other arm 29 of the moulding is secured e.g. by rivets.
