774,382. Hooks; bolts; clips; screw fastenings; hook fastenings. STEER, L. A. Aug. 20, 1954 [Aug. 24, 1953], No. 23271/53. Classes 44, 89 (1) and 89 (2). [Also in Group XIV) A holding or display device for engagement with an apertured supporting member comprises a cylindrical shank 4 having one end 5 bent at right angles for insertion, from the front, through an aperture 2 in a support 1, an externally screw-threaded sleeve 6 secured on the shank, a securing ring 8 threadedly engaging the sleeve to apply pressure, from the front, to clamp the device to the support, and articleattaching means at the other end of the shank. The end 5 may have a terminal re-entrant 10 to enter an adjacent aperture 2<SP>1</SP>, or dig into the rear surface of a hardboard sheet or a hollow pillar &c., and the attaching means may be a hook 7 or a spring-clip 11 secured between rings 8, 12 screwing on the sleeve.
