[Also in Groups IX and XI] An aeroplane propeller blade is covered for about two-thirds of its length from the root by a deicing heater comprising a woven fabric of glass yarn incorporating electrical resistance wire disposed in narrow zones 16-21, a wider gap 23 being left between the middles zones to facilitate folding the fabric round the leading edge of the blade.
