Class 100(2) In a sheet-fed rotary perfecting press the central planes of the first forme inking device 5 and of the perfecting inking device 8 are arranged substantially at right angles to one another and the device 8 is disposed with its central plane substantially parallel with and immediately above the horizontal delivery device 12 or the associated main stack 13. As shown the inking device 5 of the first couple 6, 7 is arranged forwardly of the stack 13, and the lowest part of a wiping device 16 (to remove ink deposited on the impression cylinder of the perfecting couple 9, 10 from the first printing of the sheet 11) is sufficiently high to allow access to the forme cylinder 6. The delivery device 12 may be a simple chain device with two gripper bars, and delivery may be assisted by a suction roller 17 to brake the sheets.
