Abstract
767,963. Thermionic valves. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES, Ltd. Feb. 12, 1954 [Feb. 16, 1953], No. 4193/54. Class 39(1). A holder 1 for receiving the envelope of a sub-miniature valve is a cylinder coated internally with a flock material 2, i.e. with fibres extending radially between the holder and the envelope. Nylon or rayon are suitable material which is preferably black or red in colour. For resilience the holder is slotted axially at 5 and circumferentially at 7 ; it is screw-threaded at 3 to screw into chassis 4.
