Abstract
697,823. Discharge apparatus. METROPOLITAN-VICKERS ELECTRICAL CO., Ltd. Feb. 18, 1952 [July 30, 1951], No. 17993/51. Class 39(i) Filaments 3 are replaceable in an electron gun 1, 4 by rotation of carrier 8 about axis 9, a dowel, spigot, or the like being first disengaged by an axial movement against spring 17. The dowel or like device (not shown) projects from carrier 8 into holes in face-plate 1 so as to locate the cathode angularly about the axis 9.
