761,083. Stretcher supports. WHITE, M. W. L. Dec. 21, 1954 [Jan. 12, 1954], No. 819/54. Class 108(1). [Also in Group XIV] A support for a stretcher comprises adjustable strap devices 12, 13 provided with loop portions 114, 115 and secured to hook elements 10, 11 engaging apertured rails 2, 3 supported on uprights 1 forming part of the vehicle framing. The loops 114, 115 may be of flexible material or of rigid material held in spaced relationship by a rigid rod 120 to relieve the stretcher of compressive stress. A flexible member passing round the rod 120 is secured to the stretcher canvas 6 to prevent displacement of the stretcher.
