735,613. Stretchers. ARNOLD, R. Oct. 19, 1954 [Oct. 19, 1953], No. 28846/53. Class 108 (1). A stretcher has relatively telescoping side frame members 15, 16 having brackets 20 secured to them said brackets pivotally supporting the ends of a jointed sub-frame 17, 18 which normally lies flat but may be used as a seat or back rest when the side frames are telescoped. Clips 29 secured to the members 17 engage the members 15 when the stretcher is extended and maintain the sub-frame members 17, 18 in their over-centre position.
