758,776. Root crop harvesters. RICHARDSON, G. W., BRIERLEY, T., and COURTLEY, A. June 15, 1955 [June 19, 1954], No. 18060/54. Addition to 732,974. Class 6 (3). The root crop harvester claimed in the parent Specification is modified by the addition of a second spinner E mounted behind the arcuate tunnel-like passage d<SP>3</SP> and arranged to convey the crop by means of a further arcuate passage d<SP>2</SP> to a transporter or platform. As shown, the spinner E rotates in the opposite direction to the first spinner D<SP>1</SP> and the further arcuate passage d<SP>2</SP> is formed as a continuation of the first passage d<SP>3</SP>. The spinner E is mounted on an inclined shaft and is driven by bevel gears, from a transverse shaft driving the spinner D<SP>1</SP> by means of a longitudinal shaft.
