Abstract

1,194,647. Combine harvesters. CLAAS GEB. 12 Aug., 1968 [2 Oct., 1967], No. 38514/68. Heading A1F. The grain clearing device comprises a blower (not shown) and a drive shaft 3 of a sieve 1 within a tube 12 having an arm 16 which supports the steering axle 15 of the machine. The sieve oscillates via connecting rods 9 eccentrically mounted on crank discs 13, 14. The tube 12 extends between and serves to strengthen the side walls 6, 7 of the thresher housing.
