Abstract
758,067. Folding chairs. CHRISTENSSON, M. July 16, 1954, No. 20809/54. Class 52(2). The front legs 2 of a chair pivot on a bar 6<SP>11</SP> carried by the forward ends of the side rails of the seat which is itself pivotally mounted on a rear bar across the back legs so that it can fold upwards. Retaining means lock the front bar 8 to the pivot bar 6<SP>11</SP> under the weight of the occupant and inwardly folding arm-rests may be fitted to the seat back. Locking screws may be fitted to hold the parts in erected position and the sides of the seat may be concave to permit stacking.
