[Also in Group XXII] A grid for a klystron comprises a ring 27 and a plurality of arcuate vanes 26 extending across the aperture of the ring. The ring has a diameter of the order of <SP>1</SP>/ 10 th of an inch and is preferably of gold, copper or nickel; the vanes may be of tungsten or molybdenum.
