749,807. Paperhangers tools. SIMON, W. J. Sept. 7, 1954, No. 25879/54. Class 20(2). An appliance for holding one end of a strip of paper against a ceiling which is being papered comprises an adjustable strut 10, 11 on a spring post 16 and having fixed to the top two T- shaped divergent arms 18 the cross arms 22 of which engage the paper. The strut is held at any adjusted length by a screw 14 in a clamp 12 connecting the two parts of the strut. The strut may be formed of telescoping metal tubes.
