Abstract
748,963. Plate rectifiers. LICENTIA PATENT-VERWALTUNGS-GES. July 29, 1953 [July 29, 1952], No. 21028/53. Addition to 712,262. Class 37. In a plate rectifier for stacking of the type described in the parent Specification, wherein a disc-shaped intermediate electrode 4 is provided between the counter electrode 7 and the semi-conductor layer 2, e.g. of Se in the region about the central bolt hole 3 subject to clamping pressure, a further ring 6 of insulating material is provided on the selenium layer between the bolt hole and the inner rim of the intermediate electrode. The counter electrode does not extend over this ring which is not subject to clamping pressure and the inner edge of the intermediate electrode 4 adjacent to the selenium is rounded off.
