Abstract
746,995. Stands combined with boxes. ZERVER, A. April 30, 1954 [May 2, 1953 ; Dec. 16, 1953], No. 12667/54. Class 52(3). [Also in Groups XVII and XXIII] A box has one-or more columns 5, 6 on which a lid 8 and one or more intermediate trays 7 may be raised, the lid acting as a work table. The lid may be retained in its raised position, by spring loaded pins (not shown) entering holes in the columns, the trays 7 being suspended from the lid by chains 20, 21. Alternatively the trays also may be secured by spring loaded pins. A light 29 and wheels 2, 3 may be fitted, and a seat 30 may be housed as shown, one leg being contained in a tube 32, or a seat plate may be pivoted to a column. The lid is locked in its box closing position either by a padlock or by bolts entering holes in the columns. Rubber beads 35 prevent damage. The trays may incorporate adjustable partitions. The columns need not be vertical.
