746,605. Envelopes. DAVID, A. M. Jan. 12, 1954. No. 845/54. Class 146(2). A return bank envelope blank comprises a strip divided by three parallel fold lines into four panels H, X. B. K, the upper panel H having the name and address of the bank on one side and a mail deposit slip on the other, a scored tear line 7 above and parallel to its lower edge to facilitate removal of the panel and provide a closing flap 12, and gummed removable flaps 9, 8, 10 along its upper and each side edge, the third panel B having a gummed flap 14, 15 on each side, a gummed strip 13 along the bottom of its back face, and the name and address of the depositor on that face, and being adapted to fold over the second panel X and be sealed thereto by flaps 14, 15 to form, a pocket, and the fourth panel K consisting of a duplicate deposit slip joined to panel B by a score line Y, and being adapted to be torn off and returned in the pocket, the flap 12 being used to reseal the envelope for remailing by tearing off panel H along line 7 and folding the flap over the gummed strip 13. In the first mailing the envelope, with B and X formed into a pocket, is folded first as in Fig. 2, and then along the dividing line, and sealed by flaps 8, 9, 10. On delivery, panel H is removed for use by tearing only lines 4, 5, 6, 7, or the duplicate slip, i.e. panel K, removed, completed, and placed in the pocket. For the second mailing the envelope is sealed by means of flaps 12 and strip 13.
