Classes 16 and 146(1) A suspension folder comprises a wire 2, extending substantially along the full width of the folder 1, formed with two suspension hooks 2a, 2b, the wire 2 being secured to the edge of the folder 1 by perforating the edge for passing the hooks therethrough and by folding the edge on the wire and fixing it to the non-folded part by rivets 3. As shown, one hook 2a is in the form of a right angle and the other, 2b, is semi-circular for retaining the folder 1 transversely on the supporting rails. A central portion 2c of the wire is offset to prevent turning. The edges'of the folder 1 are formed into pairs of perforations 1a and the edge is folded over to register the perforations before passing the hooks 2a, 2b therethrough. the doubled edge then being folded over and secured by the rivets 3. The folders are intended for lateral filing and the front edge is cut at an angle with flaps 1b, 1c which are folded back to strengthen the folded bottom edge and side edges. On one reinforced edge, a plate 4 is riveted, the plate 4 having a rib 4a over which a label may be held by a transparent sheath. The rivets 5 used for fixing the plate 4 are in the form of press-stud elements and similar rivets are used to fix the other flap 1c to the main body of the folder so that successive folders may be secured.together by the press-stud elements to form a concertina arrangement.
