Abstract

742,341. Cabinets. SUSTA, A. Oct. 12, 1953 [Oct. 14, 1952], No. 27929/53. Class 52(1). Metal cabinets &c. consist of panels detachably connected together, at least some of the panels consisting of a corrugated metal sheet strengthened at parts of its periphery with metal covering and stiffening framing members suitable for carrying joining members of the detachable type. The figure shows door A of a cabinet formed by a corrugated sheet 10 with a framing element 12 having flanges 14, 16 welded to the sheet 10. The rear wall C of the cabinet is similarly formed with the framing element 24 containing a strip 48 carrying projecting buttons 46 by which the rear wall is connected to the side walls B, each side wall consisting of a corrugated sheet 28 covered by a plain sheet 30 with flanges 36, 38 welded to flanges 40, 42 of the corrugated sheet. Bayonet slots in a strip 50 at the rear edge of each side wall are engaged by the buttons 46. The bottom and top of the cabinet are formed similar to the side walls and are connected thereto by screwed studs and nuts.
