A cabinet has double-wall parallel side walls 11 of thin metal sheet 15 provided with flanges 16 and horizontal slots 18 to engage supporting brackets 22 for shelves &c. are provided in the inner panel. In another embodiment Fig. 11 the side panels are formed of slotted sheets 47 and outer members 48 comprising sheets 49 with channel members 56 welded thereto.
