Abstract

1,165,078. Wall and roof cladding. H. H. ROBERTSON CO. 15 Sept., 1967 [19 Sept., 1966], No. 42162/67. Heading E1W. Wall or roof cladding comprises metal sheets 22 with upstanding edge flanges 30 which are connected together by clips 24 engaging over the flanges and secured to the supporting wall. The joints are covered by channel strips 26 engaged over the clips. The clips are secured to the wall by fasteners 38 or by welding. The wall may be solid as at 14, or open framework or a wall with inner cladding 20. In a modification. Fig. 10, the flanges 30 are kinked at 85 and the channel strips 26 engage with the flanges 30 instead of with the clips 84.
