[Also in Divisions B3 and B5] A method of seaming together the covering sheets B, of copper or other material, attached to roofing or walling panels A of fibreboard or other backing material comprises forming each sheet with a flange C having a lip F and clinching a capping, strip H over the lips, Fig. 4 (not shown). The flanging operation is facilitated by a timber framework (D, E), Fig. 1 (not shown), and the panels may be located by cleats (G), Fig. 2 (not shown), extending between the panels and flanged over at the projecting end.
